Photos you select

PocketPress uses Android’s system photo or document picker. It receives access to the files you choose, rather than requesting permission to read your entire photo library. It does not request device location permission.

The app reads selected photo content and file information to compress, resize, preview and export images. It corrects orientation and removes EXIF metadata from output copies. Your source photos remain unchanged. Removing EXIF does not remove information visible inside the picture, such as faces, addresses or text.

Processing local files can work without an internet connection. If you select a photo from a cloud provider, Android or that provider may download it first under its own practices.

Local storage and deletion

PocketPress keeps up to 30 recent output images in its private app storage. The local record includes the original filename, a reference to the selected source, output path and format, file sizes, dimensions and processing date and time. These records are used to show recent results and let you revisit or share them; they are not sent to our server or added to advertising requests.

• Recent outputs: retained until you clear recent history, older outputs are removed to make room beyond the 30-item limit, or app data is removed when you clear storage or uninstall.
• Temporary processing files: kept in the app’s cache while needed. They can be removed by the app or Android; clearing app storage or uninstalling also removes app-private data.
• Saved copies: photos you save to your gallery or another chosen location exist separately. Clearing PocketPress history or uninstalling does not remove these copies. Delete them in your gallery, file manager or the selected storage provider.
• Settings and privacy choices: local settings and consent information support the app and advertising choices. You can clear app storage; relevant advertising privacy choices can also be changed through the in-app privacy options when available.

PocketPress does not offer an account, a photo-upload service or its own cloud backup. Android backup is disabled in the app configuration. Copies saved or shared through other apps may be backed up by those apps according to your settings.

Saving and sharing with other apps

When you choose Share, Android lets you select a receiving app. PocketPress grants that app access to the chosen output copy. The recipient may then store or send it according to your action and its privacy policy. When you choose a storage provider to save a copy, that provider handles the destination file. Review your photo before sharing; we cannot delete copies already held by recipients.

Google advertising and privacy messages

PocketPress uses Google AdMob through Google Mobile Ads SDK (Legacy) 25.4.0 and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) 4.0.0. We have not added a separate developer-operated analytics service; Google’s advertising dependencies include measurement and analytics components.

Google’s SDK collects and shares network/IP information that can indicate approximate location, app interactions, performance diagnostics, and device identifiers such as advertising ID and app set ID; relevant account-related identifiers may also apply. These support advertising, analytics and fraud prevention under Google’s applicable settings and policies. App set ID is used for permitted non-advertising purposes, not personalized advertising or ad measurement.

We do not provide selected photo content, filenames or source references as advertising request data. The first release displays a banner on the results screen. Using the photo tools does not require viewing an ad or receiving ad inventory.

UMP communicates with Google to obtain applicable privacy messages and manage your choices. Where required, the app asks for privacy choices and provides an in-app privacy-options entry point. You can revisit that entry point to change or withdraw choices. Requests for ads are controlled by the current UMP result. Choosing non-personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising-related data processing.

For Google’s handling, recipients, retention and controls, read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services. You can also use your Android advertising-ID controls and Google My Ad Center. These controls do not guarantee deletion of every previously processed advertising record.

Security and data handled by other providers

App-private photos and records are stored using Android’s app storage protections. Google states that data collected by its Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. We do not operate a server that receives your photo-processing data. Data already saved or shared to another provider is governed by that provider’s security and retention practices.

Google may process information in countries outside your location as described in its policy. We cannot erase Google’s retained records by clearing PocketPress history. Use Google’s privacy controls or contact the relevant provider for its data requests.

If you contact us

If you send a support or privacy message, we receive the contact details, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and handle your request through our support email service. Do not include sensitive photos unless they are necessary for your request.

Support-message retention and deletion: Support messages are retained in our support mailbox for as long as needed to respond to your request, investigate related issues, or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion using the contact address below; information that must be retained for a legal obligation or an unresolved dispute may be kept for that purpose.

Contact free4564567@gmail.com to ask about support data we hold. We cannot remotely access or delete your app-private photos; use the local controls above.

Your privacy choices and regional rights

You control the photos selected, whether to save or share outputs, local history removal and available advertising privacy options. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. Contact us using the address above for requests about data we handle.

Where applicable, we rely on consent for personalized advertising and processing that requires consent, and on legitimate interests for responding to support requests, maintaining security and preventing misuse. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of information we hold, object to processing, or withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Send requests, or ask us to reconsider a response, at the contact email above. You may also contact your local data-protection authority. Local photo files can be managed directly in the app; requests about Google-held advertising data should also use Google’s privacy controls. We may need proportionate verification before handling a request.

Children

PocketPress is a general photo utility and is not specifically designed for children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, contact us so we can review and handle it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. We will update the effective date and provide any additional notice required for material changes.
